How can I get a ride?
Getting a ride is easy! Call (208) 625-5030. Due to the large volume of calls, please use our automated voicemail system. Leave your name, phone number and appointment information and your call will be returned in a timely manner. Pick up times can be up to an hour-and-a-half prior to your appointment time depending on the daily schedule.
What is the program’s coverage area?
Currently, the program offers free transportation for residents who live within the city limits of Coeur d’Alene, Hayden, Post Falls, and Rathdrum. If you have questions, call (208) 625-5030 and a dispatcher will return your call as soon as possible.
Are the vehicles wheelchair equipped?
Yes, busses are equipped for wheelchairs. When calling for a ride, please Include information in your message that you will need wheelchair service. The drivers are also trained to assist passengers with walkers, crutches and other devices.
Can a family member ride with me?
Yes. If you have a companion who will accompany you to your appointment, please let us know when leaving your message.
Who are the drivers?
All drivers are employed by Kootenai Health and are required to provide courteous and safe service. They understand passenger schedules and will do their best to ensure you arrive at your destination safely and on time.
