Our Multidisciplinary Cancer Case Conferences bring together medical oncologists, surgery, medical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, lab, imaging and other specialists—across three dedicated tumor boards: Breast, General, and Thoracic. Physicians present each case and review pathology and imaging together, so you have the input of every specialist at once before anything begins.

An avid outdoorsman, Luke was preparing for Mt. Rainier’s Wonderland Trail when back pain led to a surprising esophageal cancer diagnosis. When the cancer later spread, his multidisciplinary team at Kootenai utilized the latest medical advances to fight back.
