I believe patient education is the foundation of excellent healthcare. My goal is to ensure every patient understands their condition, treatment options, and the potential benefits and risks associated with each approach. When patients have the information they need, they are empowered to make informed decisions about their care and become active participants in the treatment process.

I view every patient as a unique individual with specific goals, needs, and circumstances. This patient-centered philosophy is at the core of my practice. I take the time to listen, answer questions, and provide clear explanations so that together we can develop a treatment plan that aligns with each patient’s preferences and expectations.

My approach to treatment planning is highly collaborative. After discussing a diagnosis in detail, I review all appropriate treatment options, including the advantages and disadvantages of each. Once patients have a thorough understanding of their choices, we work together to determine the best path forward. I believe the most successful outcomes occur when patients feel informed, confident, and engaged in the decision-making process.

I chose orthopedics because it combines two things I have always enjoyed: helping people and fixing things. Before entering healthcare, I spent significant time working in construction and continue to enjoy automotive work. An orthopedic career has allowed me to combine those interests in a meaningful way by helping patients restore function, reduce pain, and return to the activities they enjoy. I am also grateful to Dr. Bowen, whose encouragement played a significant role in inspiring me to pursue this specialty.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and taking advantage of the great outdoors.
