The Watchman Device
Are you looking for an alternative to blood thinners? The Watchman Device is permanently implanted into the left atrial appendage via a quick procedure. It blocks blood flow to and from the appendage, preventing clots from leaving the heart. Over time, the heart grows new tissue over the mesh material of the Watchman Device, creating a permanent wall. Users of the device reduce their risk of stroke and no longer require blood thinners. Are you a candidate? Ask your cardiologist for more details.

Parking at our Clarkston, Coeur d’Alene, Northside, Sandpoint and Valley offices is free. Our Downtown Spokane office is adjacent to the Providence Heart and Vascular Institute parking garage and the Medical Center Building parking lot. There is a small fee to park at these locations.
