Summary
I believe exceptional care begins with taking the time to truly understand each patient as an individual. Every person brings a unique medical history, set of values, life experiences, and goals to their healthcare journey. By getting to know my patients and encouraging open, collaborative conversations, I work alongside them to develop personalized care plans that reflect their priorities and support their overall well-being.
As an OB-GYN specializing in both complicated pregnancies and complex pelvic surgery, I am committed to clear communication, shared decision-making, and creating an environment where patients feel informed, supported, and empowered. I encourage patients to actively participate in their care and welcome the involvement of family members and loved ones when appropriate.
I have great respect for the effort many patients put into learning about their health before we ever meet. Modern medicine provides access to a wealth of information, and I view our visits as an opportunity to build upon that foundation. My goal is to provide expertise, guidance, and perspective that help patients navigate complex decisions efficiently and confidently while ensuring they receive meaningful, evidence-based care.
Continuity of care is also an important part of my practice. I coordinate closely with other healthcare providers to ensure a comprehensive approach that supports the best possible outcomes throughout every stage of life.
I chose this specialty because it is a privilege to care for patients through both the expected milestones and the unexpected challenges they encounter over a lifetime. I value the broad scope of women’s healthcare and the opportunity to serve as a trusted resource for my patients across many years and life transitions.
Outside of work, I enjoy taking advantage of everything the Pacific Northwest has to offer. As a multigenerational son of the region, you’ll often find me exploring backcountry trails or riding scenic country roads on my motorcycle.
