Summary
Mike graduated in 1995 earning his Masters of Physical Therapy degree from Idaho State University. He has practiced in many settings including hospital acute care, rehabilitation and transitional care units, home health, skilled nursing, and both hospital based and private outpatient clinics. He has served his profession as State Education Chair and North District Chair for the Idaho Physical Therapy Association as well as appointed terms to the Physical Therapy Licensure Board for the Idaho Board of Licensure. Mike enjoys treating people with injuries or physical impairments that impact their function or enjoyment in life and almost always ends up with a new friend during the course of treatment. He is thrilled to join the Kootenai Health team and continue his career at the hospital where he was born. Mike is married and has two daughters. Interests outside his career include: outdoor endurance sports, backpacking/camping, good food and family time, hanging out on the rocks along a river or high mountain lake, and reading a good book while swinging in his hammock.
