I believe the best care begins by getting to know each patient as an individual. Every person has unique goals, priorities, and circumstances, and I take the time to understand what matters most to them. I encourage open, collaborative conversations and invite patients—and those important to them—to actively participate in the decision-making process whenever possible.

Treatment is never one-size-fits-all. I work closely with each patient to develop a personalized care plan based on their specific needs, focusing on the least invasive and most effective approach whenever appropriate. I also collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure care is well coordinated and comprehensive.

I chose orthopedic surgery because it combines technical precision with the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in people’s lives. Like skilled craftsmanship, orthopedic surgery often involves identifying a structural problem and reconstructing it using proven techniques and advanced technology. While recovery can take time, seeing a fracture heal, function return, and patients get back to the activities they enjoy is one of the most rewarding parts of my profession.
