I believe the best care comes from truly getting to know each patient and understanding their individual needs, values and goals. I encourage patients to be active participants in their care and welcome open, collaborative conversations that include their loved ones when appropriate. My goal is to develop treatment plans that combine evidence-based medicine with what is reasonable, meaningful and consistent with each patient’s priorities.

Whenever possible, I focus on the least invasive, most effective treatment approach and work closely with other health care providers to ensure care is comprehensive and coordinated. It is a privilege to care for patients and their loved ones during some of the most stressful and challenging moments of their lives. I want every patient to feel heard, respected and confident that the decisions we make together reflect both their best interests and what matters most to them.
