Every patient encounter is an opportunity to build a meaningful relationship based on trust, compassion, and respect. I take the time to understand each patient’s unique circumstances, values, and goals so we can work together to create a care plan that reflects what matters most to them. I believe the best medical care is a true partnership, where patients are informed, heard, and actively involved in every decision.

As a nephrologist, I strive to provide the least invasive, most effective treatment whenever possible while drawing on the latest evidence and more than 20 years of experience in community, military, and academic medicine. I work closely with primary care providers, specialists, and other members of the care team to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care that helps patients confidently manage their kidney health and improve their overall well-being.

Nephrology is more than a specialty to me. It is a calling. I consider it a privilege to care for my patients and treat each one with the same compassion and respect I would want for my own family.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, practicing my faith, hiking, biking, reading, traveling, and taking advantage of everything North Idaho has to offer.
