I believe the best care comes from working together with patients and understanding what matters most to them. I encourage patients to be active participants in their care and strive to develop individualized treatment plans that reflect their needs, values and priorities. I also welcome the involvement of family and loved ones when appropriate and work closely with other health care providers to ensure care is comprehensive and coordinated.
In orthopedic trauma, patients often come to me during unexpected and challenging moments in their lives. Whenever possible, I focus on the least invasive, most effective treatment approach, with the goal of restoring function, relieving pain and helping patients return to the activities and lives they enjoy. It is a privilege to guide patients through their recovery and make a meaningful difference when they need it most.
