I chose neurosurgery because it combines the technical challenges of complex surgery with the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in my patients’ lives. My primary clinical interests include cranial neurosurgery, particularly brain tumors, skull base surgery using endoscopic transsphenoidal techniques, traumatic brain injury, hydrocephalus, and other intracranial disorders. I also care for patients with selected spinal tumors, peripheral nerve disorders, and cervical and thoracolumbar spine conditions when surgery is the most appropriate treatment.

My approach to care begins with listening. I take the time to understand each patient’s unique circumstances, values, and goals so we can make treatment decisions together. I believe patients should be active participants in their care, and I use imaging studies and visual models to help explain diagnoses and treatment options in a clear, understandable way. Whenever possible, I focus on the least invasive, most effective approach and carefully consider non-surgical options when they are safe and appropriate. I also work closely with primary care providers, specialists, and other members of the healthcare team to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care throughout each patient’s journey.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors, whether it’s on the water or in the snow, and I’m an avid reader. Those interests help me stay balanced, continue learning, and bring fresh perspective to the care I provide my patients.
