This past Saturday our Injury Prevention team hosted a Winter Helmet Safety and Concussion Awareness booth up at Lookout Pass Ski and Recreation Area. We estimate over 400 people came to the event and over 200 people stopped by the booth for helmet safety and concussion awareness education by Kootenai Health RNs. Best of all, 103 kids were entered into the drawing for 15 free ski/snowboard helmets. Thank you to everyone who visited us on Saturday!
