Each year, LifeCenter recognizes top performing hospitals for their continued dedication to supporting donation.
Kootenai Health is being honored with the following achievement awards:
- One of only 12 hospitals to receive the Organ Donation Referral Achievement Award, which recognizes hospitals for their consistency in making timely referral calls, a commitment that is incredibly challenging. This award is for reaching or exceeding a referral rate of 90 percent for organ donation.
- One of only 25 hospitals to receive the Tissue Donation Referral Achievement Award, which recognizes hospitals for their consistency in maintaining a high timely referral rate, a testament to their dedication. This award is for reaching or exceeding a referral rate of 95 percent for tissue donation.
