It will be a busy weekend around the Inland Northwest with Hoopfest and Ironman in Coeur d’Alene going on. Ironman racers will be put through physical and mental war in the triathlon.
It’s a good reminder that people should know how to do CPR. Kootenai Health’s emergency department frequently sees people in the community who needed CPR to save their life.
“We’ve actually had a couple of instances recently where people got CPR immediately upon collapse, and they survived and they are perfectly intact, had it even been two minutes before they got CPR that would’ve made a difference,” Stan Foster said.
