Summary
Dr. Stephen Schwartz is an accomplished oncologist who has been passionately taking care of oncology and hematology patients since 1990.
After earning his Bachelor of Science at the University of Michigan, he earned his Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) at Rutgers University. Dr. Schwartz completed his post-graduate Residency training at Rush-Presbyterian St. Luke’s Medical Center and his Fellowship at Memorial Sloan-Kettering in New York. Additionally, Dr. Schwartz has also earned a Master of Public Health from Darthmouth College, Geisel School of Medicine.
Dr. Schwartz works closely with his patients to understand all of their lives beyond their medical diagnoses. He takes the time to understand what is important to them and provide comprehensive, empathetic, compassionate care that will meet their physical, mental and emotional needs. Dr. Schwartz treats a variety of oncology (cancer) and hematologic (blood) conditions.
