Summary
I believe the best healthcare is built on collaboration, prevention, and a shared commitment to long-term wellness. My goal is to partner with patients to add “quality health years,” helping them stay healthy, maintain their independence, and spend more time doing the activities they enjoy with the people they love. I take the time to understand each patient’s values, cultural background, and personal health goals so we can develop a care plan that is both effective and respectful of what matters most to them.
As an internal medicine physician, I provide evidence-based care focused on disease prevention, chronic disease management, and optimizing overall health. I believe informed patients make the best decisions, so I discuss all appropriate treatment options while honoring each person’s preferences and values. I also regularly review medications to reduce unnecessary prescriptions whenever appropriate, helping minimize polypharmacy and the risk of medication interactions.
I work closely with specialists both within our community and beyond to ensure patients receive coordinated, comprehensive care. I chose internal medicine because I enjoy caring for adults with complex and chronic medical conditions while helping prevent future illness through proactive, personalized care. My areas of interest include preventive medicine, diabetes, thyroid disorders, cardiovascular disease, COPD, liver and kidney disease, weight management, and women’s health.
