Summary
I believe effective cardiac care starts with understanding what matters most to each patient. I work closely with my patients to understand their goals, values and priorities so we can make decisions together and develop an individualized care plan that is both effective and aligned with their goals. I encourage open conversations, welcome the involvement of family and loved ones, and want every patient to feel like an active participant in their care.
Heart health often involves many aspects of a person’s overall well-being, so I value collaborating with other health care providers to ensure care is comprehensive and well coordinated. I also believe in building lasting relationships with my patients and their families and being a trusted partner throughout their care.
My interest in cardiology began at a young age after seeing members of my own family experience heart-related health issues. Those experiences ultimately inspired me to pursue the specialty. I find it incredibly rewarding to help patients feel better, improve their health and enjoy a better quality of life.
