Summary
I believe the best healthcare starts with listening. Every patient has a unique story, and I take the time to understand not only their medical concerns but also their goals, values, cultural background, and the factors that influence their overall health. My goal is to create a welcoming environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to be active participants in their care.
As a physician assistant in internal medicine, I enjoy building long-term relationships with my patients and partnering with them throughout their healthcare journey. I work closely with physicians, specialists, and other members of the care team to provide coordinated, comprehensive care, while helping patients stay on top of preventive screenings, nutrition, and other important aspects of their well-being. Together, we develop realistic, personalized care plans that focus on the least invasive and most effective treatment options whenever possible.
I chose to become a physician assistant because it offered the opportunity to combine science, lifelong learning, and meaningful relationships with patients. Internal medicine continues to inspire me because of its complexity and the opportunity to help patients manage chronic conditions while improving their overall quality of life over time.
Outside of work, I enjoy traveling, spending time outdoors, and baking.
