Summary
Dr. Raber received his medical degree from Wake Forest University School of Medicine in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, and completed his Neurosurgery residency at Brigham and Women’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School in Boston, Massachusetts. He then went on to complete a fellowship in Complex Spine Surgery at Johns Hopkins Medical Institute in Baltimore, Maryland. Prior to joining Kootenai, Dr. Raber was an assistant professor of Neurosurgery at Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, Texas where he specialized in minimally invasive and complex spine surgery. He works to develop an individual treatment regimen specific to each patient’s unique needs. Dr. Raber is Board Certified in Neurologic Surgery and serves as the neurotrauma liaison since 2022, specializing in traumatic brain and spinal cord injuries here at Kootenai Health. He and his family are excited to be a part of the northern Idaho community.
