Summary
I believe the best care begins with understanding each patient as an individual, including their unique needs, circumstances, values and beliefs. I see patients and their families as partners in care and work to ensure their voices and priorities guide the decisions we make together. My goal is to meet patients where they are and develop individualized, evidence-based treatment plans that are both effective and realistic for their lives.
I value building lasting relationships with my patients and take a comprehensive approach to their health, coordinating with other health care providers and trusted local and regional partners when needed. Whenever possible, I focus on the least invasive, most effective treatment and regularly evaluate medications and other options as a patient’s needs change. Whether managing a chronic lung condition over many years or caring for someone during a critical illness, it is a privilege to support patients and their families through every stage of their care.
