I view the provider-patient relationship as a true partnership built on trust, communication, and shared decision-making. I strive to empower patients through education and support, helping them make informed choices and feel confident throughout their care journey.

My passion for neurosurgery began while working as a nurse at Kootenai Health, where I witnessed how transformative care can be for patients facing neurological challenges. That experience inspired me to combine my love of science and the complexity of the brain and spine with my commitment to compassionate, personalized care. It’s deeply rewarding to help patients heal and return to the activities that bring them joy.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors—running, swimming, hiking, biking, gardening, and snowshoeing—with my husband and our two dogs and occasionally competing in local triathlons.
