Summary
My philosophy of care is grounded in the belief that every patient deserves to be heard, respected, and actively involved in their own health journey. I take time to understand each patient’s unique circumstances, values, beliefs, and expectations. By fostering open, collaborative discussions, I encourage patients—and those important to them—to play an active role in decision-making. Together, we create individualized care plans that reflect their priorities, with the goal of building lasting relationships that extend beyond the patient-provider dynamic and into the broader community. My role is not only to provide care, but also to educate and guide patients toward the best health path possible.
I believe continuity of care is essential for achieving optimal health outcomes. By coordinating with other healthcare providers, I ensure that patients receive a comprehensive and seamless approach to their care. I work to identify and close care gaps through tools like screenings, nutrition support, and referrals to trusted local and regional partners. My commitment is to care for the whole patient—addressing both immediate concerns and long-term health needs in a complete, integrated way.
Respect is the foundation of trust. I strive to honor each patient’s values, beliefs, and preferences in every aspect of care. By acknowledging and incorporating these perspectives into treatment planning, I create an environment where patients feel empowered, valued, and included in their health decisions.
My approach to treatment is thoughtful and intentional. I prioritize the least invasive, most effective interventions whenever possible and use risk-benefit analysis to guide decisions when more advanced options are needed. Regularly reviewing medications, exploring alternatives, and focusing on evidence-based care ensures that each plan is safe, personalized, and aligned with the patient’s overall health goals.
I am deeply passionate about sleep medicine because of its profound impact on every aspect of health and well-being. Supporting patients in achieving restorative sleep allows me to address not only their immediate concerns but also the broader, long-term benefits of improved quality of life.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family in the outdoors. Whether it’s hiking, camping, or simply exploring nature together, these activities keep me grounded, energized, and connected—helping me bring balance, joy, and perspective to the care I provide.
