Summary
Dan Cannon was born and raised in Utah. He earned his undergraduate degree in Neuroscience at Brigham Young University. During college he spent time overseas doing missionary work and also worked in a research laboratory. After his undergraduate studies he earned his medical degree at the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where he also completed his residency training in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery. During medical school he was elected to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society. He is certified by the American Board of Otolaryngology and a member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery.
After completing all his medical training in Milwaukee he was in private practice in Oregon before joining Kootenai Health in the Summer of 2018. He enjoys the variety of ENT practice, seeing a wide array of conditions with both medical and surgical treatments, and taking care of patients of all ages. He and his wife Kim have 4 children and are thrilled to be able to live and work in such a beautiful area. They enjoy camping, hiking, sports, reading, and music.
