My philosophy of care begins with listening. I take the time to understand each patient’s symptoms, concerns, and goals so we can work together to develop a treatment plan that fits their individual needs and lifestyle. I believe patients should feel informed, supported, and actively involved in decisions about their care.

I value open communication and a collaborative approach to medicine. Neurological conditions can be complex, and I work closely with primary care providers, specialists, therapists, and our neurosurgery team to ensure patients receive coordinated, comprehensive care. For patients who may benefit from deep brain stimulation (DBS), I partner closely with our neurosurgery colleagues to guide evaluation and treatment decisions.

My approach to treatment is thoughtful and evidence-based, focusing on the least invasive and most effective options whenever possible. I regularly review medications and treatment plans to ensure they continue to support each patient’s function, independence, and quality of life. I also provide botulinum toxin injections for movement disorders and tailor treatment recommendations to each patient’s unique circumstances.

Above all, I believe every patient deserves to feel heard, respected, and valued. I take each person’s preferences, experiences, and goals into account when discussing treatment options and making care decisions together.

Originally from Moldova, Eastern Europe, becoming a neurologist has been a lifelong dream. I have always been fascinated by the complexity of the nervous system and find great fulfillment in helping patients better understand and manage movement disorders and other neurological conditions.

Outside of medicine, I enjoy spending time with my family and exploring local and national parks. I also value being part of a collaborative healthcare team dedicated to providing exceptional patient care.
