Summary
I believe medicine is fundamentally a relationship built on trust, communication, and partnership. While every patient is a unique individual with their own goals, concerns, and life experiences, we are also social beings who thrive through meaningful connections. My goal is to create an environment where patients feel heard, respected, and empowered to actively participate in their care.
As an orthopedic surgeon, I see my role not only as a physician, but also as an educator. The word “doctor” originates from the Latin word meaning “to teach,” and I take that responsibility seriously. I strive to help patients better understand their bodies, their diagnosis, and the treatment options available to them so they can make informed decisions about their health. Questions are always encouraged, and I believe that open dialogue leads to better outcomes and greater confidence throughout the treatment process.
With nearly two decades of experience treating conditions of the musculoskeletal system, I have found that the most successful care plans are those built collaboratively between physician and patient. Whether addressing joint pain, injury, arthritis, trauma, or other orthopedic conditions, I focus on understanding the whole person and tailoring treatment recommendations to their individual needs, lifestyle, and goals.
My hope is that every patient leaves their visit with a clearer understanding of their condition, confidence in their treatment plan, and a renewed ability to pursue the activities that bring meaning and enjoyment to their life.
