Family Medicine
Family Medicine
One care team. Every age. Your family's health—for life.
Your family's health doesn't stand still. Babies grow into school-aged kids. School physicals become sports injuries. Annual checkups become conversations about blood pressure, diabetes, or healthy aging. Your family medicine doctor at Kootenai Clinic doesn’t just care for you when you're sick. They help you stay healthy, remind you when it's time for important screenings, coordinate specialists when you need them, and stay connected after major health events.
With every new season of life, you have a care team that knows your family's health story. By caring for children, parents, and older adults, our family medicine doctors are able to recognize patterns over time and help connect your care as life changes. From preventive care and chronic disease management to following up after a hospital stay, we're here to help your family stay healthy for generations to come.

- Care coordination with specialists
- Follow-up after hospitalization
- Preventive reminders for screenings and routine care

What to Expect
New Patients
You don’t need a referral to establish care with a family medicine provider. To get started, contact the Kootenai Clinic appointment center.
Established Patients
Patients should always contact their family medicine provider's office for needed care during clinic hours. Your family medicine team will determine if your symptoms can be managed in an office visit or if you need to be seen in an urgent care or emergency department.
