My philosophy of care is rooted in patient-centeredness, where patients and their loved ones are active partners in every decision. I strive to build genuine relationships so I can better understand each person’s unique life, values, and circumstances, and I believe that continuity of care is essential to achieving this. Having been both born and professionally trained in this community, I bring a deep understanding of the local healthcare network and use this perspective to serve not only as a physician but also as an advocate and guide through an often complex system. While I offer my medical expertise, I recognize that my patients are the true experts in their own lives, and I see their ideas and preferences as vital to every treatment plan. I favor the fewest necessary medical interventions, taking care to explain my reasoning so that decisions are shared and purposeful, always aiming for practical, effective outcomes rather than unnecessary medicines or procedures. I chose family medicine because it allows me to walk alongside people of all ages and backgrounds, building long-term relationships and supporting them through every stage of life. Outside of work, I find balance and joy in fishing, football, basketball, playing guitar, gardening, home brewing, cooking, gaming, and most importantly, spending time with my family.
