Community Involvement

Our roots run deep. So does our commitment.

ADVANCED MEDICINE. CLOSE TO HOME.

When you need us, we’ve got you.

Kootenai Health is North Idaho's. As a local, not-for-profit health system, we care for communities across North Idaho, Spokane, Eastern Washington, and Montana—bringing nationally-recognized expertise closer to home.

With 25+ specialties, 20+ locations, and more than 4,000 healthcare professionals, we've made advanced medicine local. From routine care to highly complex treatment, patients across the region turn to Kootenai Health for expertise, technology and coordinated care they can trust. Regional physicians, clinics, and hospitals regularly refer and transfer patients to us for specialized services that may not be available elsewhere nearby.

But advanced medicine only matters if people can actually access it. That’s why we continue investing in better—expanding services, bringing in new specialists, opening new locations, and advancing the technology and treatments available in our region.

Because the people of our region deserve advanced medicine close to home. And we're committed building something even better.
