Nephrology – Kidney and Hypertension Services
Nephrology – Kidney and Hypertension Services
Kidney expertise for every stage, across North Idaho.
Kidney disease doesn’t always start with symptoms. Sometimes, the first sign is a change in lab results showing an electrolyte imbalance or blood pressure that’s difficult to control. Our nephrology team takes time to explain what your lab results mean, what may be affecting your kidney function, and how treatment can help slow further decline.
From four Idaho clinics and expanded telehealth services, we care for people at every stage of kidney disease—including dialysis and post-transplant management. We also offer genetic testing that can help identify hereditary and complex kidney diseases, supporting earlier diagnosis and more personalized treatment. For patients living in rural communities where nephrology services can be limited, our outreach clinics and telehealth options bring specialty care closer to home.

Kidney care is connected to your whole health.
Your kidneys affect multiple systems throughout your body. That’s why your care may involve other specialists and services along the way.
Nephrology and Urology
Comprehensive kidney care may involve both nephrology and urology. Nephrology focuses on kidney function and filtration, while urology addresses structural and anatomical conditions of the kidneys and urinary system.
Cardiology and Endocrinology
Diabetes and cardiovascular disease are commonly associated with kidney disease. We work closely with these specialists to coordinate care across these connected conditions.
Dialysis and Transplant
When renal replacement therapy is needed, we partner with dialysis centers and transplant programs to help connect you with the appropriate care.
