I believe exceptional care begins with listening. Every patient has a unique story, and I take the time to understand their concerns, goals, values, and priorities before developing a treatment plan. I encourage open communication and shared decision-making, ensuring patients feel comfortable expressing their thoughts and preferences so we can make the best decisions together.

My approach is centered on building lasting relationships and empowering patients to take an active role in managing their health. I provide evidence-based guidance while collaborating closely with patients, their families, and other health care providers to develop individualized care plans that support both their immediate needs and long-term well-being. Whenever appropriate, I focus on the least invasive, most effective treatment options and regularly review medications and alternatives to ensure care remains aligned with each patient’s goals.

I believe a treatment plan is only successful if it can be realistically followed. Education, support, and partnership are essential to helping patients understand their condition and confidently carry out the plan we create together.

I chose to become a nephrology nurse practitioner because I am passionate about caring for patients with chronic kidney disease and building meaningful, long-term relationships. Managing kidney disease often means balancing complex medical conditions while helping patients navigate difficult decisions. I find it incredibly rewarding to educate and empower patients so they can better manage their health and maintain the highest possible quality of life.

Outside of work, I enjoy yard work, fishing, hiking, and, most importantly, spending time with my family.
