Heart & Vascular Diagnostic Services
Non-invasive testing to evaluate heart and vascular conditions
You don’t need to know which test you need. We select the right testing based on your symptoms and history to help identify or rule out heart or vascular conditions. We offer tests for both initial evaluation and follow-up, with many performed in the office setting.
Testing typically begins with an evaluation of your symptoms or concerns. A provider may order diagnostic testing directly or refer you for further evaluation. Your results are reviewed by your care team to determine next steps, whether that’s additional testing, monitoring, or treatment.
Cardiac Imaging
Echocardiogram
A non-invasive ultrasound exam used to help diagnose multiple forms of heart disease, including evaluating valve disease, chamber size, and ejection fraction.
Cardiac Stress Testing
Treadmill Exercise Test
Monitors heart rhythm, blood pressure, and symptoms during exercise to evaluate exercise tolerance, arrhythmias, and coronary artery disease.
Stress Echocardiogram
Combines ultrasound with exercise or medication to assess heart function under stress, without radiation exposure.
Nuclear Stress Test (Myocardial Perfusion Imaging)
Assesses for coronary artery disease and evaluates blood flow to the heart muscle using a safe, accurate, and non-invasive approach.
Cardiac Rhythm Monitoring
Electrocardiogram (ECG/EKG)
12 lead electrocardiogram to evaluate resting abnormalities in heart rhythm and cardiac status.
Pacemaker & Defibrillator Checks
Prescribed for follow-up of pacemaker and defibrillator function. A transmitter is supplied to the patient, who is contacted on a regular basis for pacemaker checks.
Vascular Testing
We offer a full range of vascular ultrasound examinations to assess circulation in the arteries and veins and diagnose conditions such as peripheral arterial disease, carotid stenosis, aneurysms, and other vascular disorders.
Types of vascular exams include:
Carotid Ultrasound
Assesses blood flow through the carotid arteries in the neck to evaluate stroke symptoms or other cardiovascular disease.
Arterial & Venous Ultrasound
Evaluates blood flow in the veins and arteries of the arms, legs and abdomen to assess for deep vein thrombosis (DVT), venous insufficiency, peripheral arterial disease, aneurysms, or blockages.
Ankle-Brachial Index (ABI)
Compares blood pressure in the arm and ankle to detect circulation problems
