Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)

Recovery has to work beyond our walls. We’ll help you build it there.

Intensive Outpatient Programs (IOP)

Outpatient treatment built around your recovery goals.

Kootenai Health offers outpatient treatment for adults ages 18 and older through two levels of care: Intensive Outpatient (IOP), with programs for substance use disorders and mental health, and Adult Outpatient (OP) treatment.

Care begins with a thorough assessment and an individualized treatment plan based on your needs and goals. Master’s-level clinicians and substance use disorder counselors use evidence-based approaches in a supportive group setting to help you build skills, strengthen your recovery and move forward.

3 Days a Week

Structured group treatment

8-Week Program

24 intensive outpatient sessions
Build skills and work toward your recovery goals through ongoing structured sessions.

Continued Support
