Summary
I believe exceptional care begins with listening. I take the time to understand each patient’s unique circumstances, values, cultural background, and goals so we can build a treatment plan together that reflects what matters most to them. I encourage open communication and shared decision-making, welcoming the involvement of family and loved ones whenever appropriate. By fostering a collaborative environment built on trust and respect, I strive to ensure every patient feels heard, supported, and empowered throughout their care.
My approach is centered on providing the least invasive, most effective treatment whenever possible while tailoring care to each individual’s needs. I work closely with other health care providers to ensure a coordinated, comprehensive approach, and I regularly review medications and treatment options to provide care that is both evidence based and personalized.
My passion for neurology grew while working as an Emergency Medicine Physician Assistant in high-volume hospitals, where I cared for patients with time-sensitive cerebrovascular conditions. Those experiences inspired me to pursue inpatient neurology and vascular care, with a particular focus on stroke management. I am committed to staying current with the latest advances in stroke care so I can deliver the highest quality treatment while helping each patient achieve the best possible outcome.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and our two young children, traveling whenever we can, cooking, exercising, reading, and spending time on or in the water.
