- Family Medicine
Summary
I believe the best healthcare is built on a strong partnership between physician and patient. My goal is to create an environment where patients feel heard, respected, and actively involved in decisions about their care. By working together, we can develop treatment plans that align with each person’s health goals, values, and preferences.
As a family physician, I value the opportunity to build long-term relationships and care for patients through every stage of life. I believe continuity of care is essential to achieving the best outcomes, whether that means coordinating with specialists, supporting smooth transitions after a hospital stay, or helping patients stay current with preventive screenings and routine care.
I respect every patient’s autonomy and believe informed, shared decision-making leads to better health. Whenever possible, I take the time to review treatment options, discuss alternatives, and help patients understand the benefits and considerations of each approach so they can make confident, informed choices.
I chose family medicine because I grew up in a small town where I saw firsthand the important role family physicians play in their communities. The relationships they built and the positive impact they had on generations of families inspired me to pursue the same path. Since joining this community in 2004, it has been a privilege to care for patients and their families, and I remain committed to helping them live healthier, more fulfilling lives.
