Care Philosophy

I believe great primary care begins with building meaningful, lasting relationships with my patients. I take the time to get to know each person's unique goals, concerns, and priorities so we can develop a care plan that is personalized to their needs. My role is to stay current on the latest medical evidence and recommendations, then explain those options in a way that is clear and easy to understand, empowering patients to make informed decisions about their health.

I value collaboration and encourage my patients to play an active role in their care. Together, we explore treatment options and determine the approach that best aligns with their preferences, lifestyle, and long-term health goals. I also work closely with other health care providers to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care while helping patients stay on track with preventive screenings, nutrition, and other measures that promote lifelong wellness.

I grew up in a small town and always knew I wanted to practice primary care medicine. Internal medicine has been a natural fit because it allows me to build long-term relationships with patients and their families while embracing the intellectual challenge of managing complex medical conditions and chronic diseases.

Outside of work, I enjoy chasing my kids around, playing tennis, and spending time outdoors.
