Women’s Imaging Center – Coming Soon

Kootenai Health and Kootenai Outpatient Imaging understand women’s health requires care that is both compassionate and comprehensive. We are excited to announce the upcoming opening of a women’s imaging center in Coeur d’Alene, a space designed specifically for women’s imaging needs.

What to Expect

The new space will provide a comfortable and supportive environment where women can receive state-of-the-art imaging and diagnostic services. From routine mammograms to advanced diagnostics, we are committed to offering cutting-edge technology with a focus on your comfort and privacy.

Features of the Center:

  • Located in Coeur d’Alene with a welcoming, private space designed for women
  • Advanced imaging technology, including new Automate Breast Ultrasound (ABUS) technology that works in conjunction with mammography for women with  dense breasts, complementing mammograms for more accurate screenings
  • Weekday and Saturday appointments available
  • Our Post Falls campus will be adding a DEXA bone density scan and ultrasound machines, providing more convenient diagnostic services close to home
  • Kootenai Health is proud to be the only accredited breast imaging center in all of North Idaho by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC) and the Commission on Cancer (CoC), ensuring the highest standards in breast care
