Occupational Medicine
Occupational Medicine
One team managing your care, your claim, and your recovery
Work injuries and employment-related health needs can quickly become more than just a medical issue. There's the injury itself, but also the claim, the paperwork, and the pressure to get back to work.
Occupational medicine is different from urgent care or a primary care visit. Our providers are trained to evaluate injuries within the context of your specific job duties, workplace risks, and regulatory requirements, leading to more accurate diagnoses and treatment plans built around the realities of your work.
We serve as a central point of coordination between you, your employer, your workers' compensation carrier, and any specialists involved in your care. That means clearer communication, aligned treatment plans, and support navigating the workers’ compensation process—including claims, referrals, and authorizations—so you can make informed decisions and stay focused on recovery.

What to Expect
You don't need a referral to be seen.
You can schedule an appointment by calling our clinic directly. If you're already a patient, you can also arrange your next visit before leaving your current appointment.
Do you need an active claim to be seen? No — this is one of the most common misconceptions we hear. You can be evaluated as long as your injury has been reported to your employer. You do not need an accepted claim before your first visit.
How claims work by state:
Idaho: Idaho is an employer-report state, meaning your employer files the claim with their insurance carrier. If your employer does not file, you can file directly through the Idaho Industrial Commission.
Washington: You will file a First Report of Accident, either by phone or during your first visit with our provider. We can help guide you through this process.
