Pluvicto® is a targeted therapy for certain patients with advanced prostate cancer. It uses a small amount of radioactive medicine designed to find PSMA-positive prostate cancer cells and deliver treatment directly to them.

What to Expect

Pluvicto is given through an IV in our Nuclear Medicine department over a series of treatment visits. Your Nuclear Medicine team works closely with your oncology team to coordinate your care and guide you through each step.

Your provider will determine if Pluvicto® is right for you and will review your imaging, previous treatments, and overall care plan before treatment begins.

CT provides fast, highly detailed images that allow your care team to see the heart, blood vessels, brain, and other areas of the body with exceptional detail. These specialized exams can help detect disease earlier, evaluate complex conditions, and provide important information to guide treatment and procedure planning.

• Cardiac CT / Coronary CTA – Detailed imaging of the heart and coronary arteries.
• CT Calcium Scoring – Helps assess your risk for heart disease by measuring calcium in the coronary arteries.
• Advanced CT Angiography (CTA) – Detailed imaging of blood vessels throughout the body.
• CT Perfusion for Stroke – Evaluates blood flow in the brain to help guide stroke treatment.
• Cardiac & Vascular Planning – Specialized CT imaging used to help plan certain heart and vascular procedures.

Nuclear Medicine uses small amounts of radioactive material, called a radiotracer, to show how organs and tissues are functioning inside the body. A special camera detects the tracer and creates images that can help diagnose disease, evaluate organ function, and guide treatment.

The amount of radiotracer used is carefully selected for each exam. Preparation varies depending on the type of study, and our team will provide instructions before your appointment.

Nuclear Medicine Services

• Cardiac Nuclear Medicine - Nuclear Medicine can evaluate blood flow to the heart and how well the heart is functioning, providing important information for the diagnosis and management of heart disease.
• Sentinel Lymph Node Mapping - Before certain cancer surgeries, a small amount of radiotracer is injected near the area being treated. The tracer helps your surgeon identify the sentinel lymph nodes that may need to be evaluated during surgery.
