Care Philosophy

I believe the best healthcare outcomes are achieved when patients are active participants in their care. My approach centers on collaboration, taking the time to understand each patient's goals and priorities so we can develop an individualized treatment plan together. I encourage open communication and welcome patient input throughout the decision-making process.

I am committed to providing respectful, patient-centered care that honors each person's preferences and values. When discussing treatment options, I strive to ensure patients feel informed, heard, and empowered to make decisions that align with their needs and goals.

I believe continuity of care is essential to achieving the best outcomes. I work closely with other healthcare providers to ensure a coordinated approach and, when appropriate, schedule follow-up visits to evaluate progress and adjust treatment plans as needed.

My treatment philosophy emphasizes the least invasive and most effective approach whenever possible. I regularly review medications and explore alternatives when appropriate, with a focus on delivering safe, evidence-based care that improves quality of life.

I chose a career in healthcare because I enjoy working with people and have always been passionate about medicine. My interest in gastroenterology stems from the opportunity to help patients manage complex digestive conditions and improve their overall health and well-being.

Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, hiking, snowboarding, exercising, and taking advantage of the many outdoor activities our region has to offer.
