I often meet patients after unexpected injuries, sometimes on one of the most difficult days of their lives. Because of this, I approach patient care with empathy, respect, and a commitment to clear communication. My goal is to guide patients through the decision-making process, helping them understand their injury, treatment options, and recovery path while developing a personalized plan that aligns with their individual needs and goals.

I believe that an injury is often only part of the story. To provide the best possible care, I strive to understand not only the injury itself, but also each patient’s values, circumstances, lifestyle, and long-term objectives. By taking the time to listen and learn what matters most to my patients, I can help create treatment plans that support both recovery and overall quality of life.

Shared decision-making is at the heart of my practice. I believe patients should have a clear understanding of their treatment options, expected outcomes, and potential risks and benefits. By providing comprehensive information and encouraging patient input, I work collaboratively with patients to make informed decisions that reflect their preferences and priorities.

My treatment philosophy focuses on utilizing the least invasive and most effective approach whenever possible. Whether surgical or non-surgical care is appropriate, my goal is to help patients regain function, restore confidence, and return to the activities that are important to them.

My passion for orthopedic trauma grew from an early interest in emergency medicine and acute injury management. I chose orthopedic trauma because it allows me to provide tangible, hands-on care that can have a meaningful impact on patients’ lives. Guiding patients through recovery and witnessing their progress and functional improvement is one of the most rewarding aspects of my profession.

Outside of work, I enjoy downhill skiing, scuba diving, and mountain biking.
