Dr. Cook went above and beyond to diagnose me with a very rare condition. Another doctor shared with me his thoughts that, “he does not know of another doctor that would have made that diagnosis.” Dr. Cook is truly brilliant and I have especially enjoyed our consults and interactions. Dr Cook saved my life. My wife and I thought he had great bedside manners. He wasn't not even my physician. 2 years ago I had meningitis, initially they didn't know if it was contagious or not. Dr Cook stopped by my room in the hospital in his capacity as an Infectious Disease Doctor, to ask me some questions. His first question was how log had I had the lump on my neck. Nothing to do with meningitis. I hadn't notice a lump on my neck, my wife hadn't noticed it, the Doctors treating me hadn't noticed it. Before he continued with the actual reason for his visit he had the nurse schedule a biopsy. I can't thank Dr Cook enough for his attentiveness. Turns out I had stage 4 throat cancer. I sure the only reason I'm still here is Dr. Cook. Thank You Dr. Cook
