Summary
I believe exceptional care begins with listening. I take the time to understand my patients’ concerns, answer their questions, and educate them about their medical conditions so they can play an active role in their healthcare decisions. Open communication is essential, and I encourage patients to maintain a close dialogue with me in the hope of building long-lasting, trusting relationships. I am also interested in understanding each patient’s social circumstances and often encourage family members to participate in appointments, recognizing the important role they can play in supporting health and well-being.
Respect for patient autonomy is a cornerstone of my practice. While I provide guidance based on the best available scientific evidence, I believe patients should have the freedom to make informed decisions about their care. I welcome patient input and am always willing to adjust treatment plans based on individual preferences, concerns, and experiences. Whether discussing treatment options or managing medication side effects, I strive to provide choices and work collaboratively to find the approach that best fits each patient’s needs. This is the same kind of care I would want for myself and my family.
Continuity of care is vital to achieving the best outcomes in cardiovascular health. I work closely with physicians and providers across multiple specialties to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care. I am also grateful to be part of a dedicated team that helps patients stay connected to the services, testing, and follow-up care they need throughout their healthcare journey.
My treatment philosophy focuses on utilizing the most effective diagnostic and therapeutic tools available to prevent, diagnose, and treat heart disease. By combining evidence-based medicine with personalized care, my goal is to help patients improve their health, quality of life, and long-term outcomes.
I chose cardiology because I became fascinated by heart physiology and cardiovascular disease during medical school. The scientific rigor of cardiovascular research, combined with the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients and their families, inspired me to pursue this specialty. Helping patients feel better, live longer, and enjoy a higher quality of life continues to be one of the most rewarding aspects of my profession.
Outside of work, I enjoy playing soccer, spending quality time with my family, and traveling.
