Summary
I believe the best outcomes come from building strong relationships with my patients based on trust, respect, and open communication. I take the time to understand each person’s unique circumstances, goals, and concerns, and I encourage them to be active participants in their care. Together, we develop treatment plans that are evidence based, personalized, and aligned with their lifestyle and functional needs. I value collaboration not only with my patients and their loved ones, but also with other members of the health care team to ensure comprehensive, coordinated care. Above all, I am committed to treating every patient with compassion, dignity, and empathy, so they feel heard, informed, and supported throughout their care journey.
I chose hand surgery because it combines the complexity of medicine with the opportunity to make a meaningful and immediate impact on patients’ lives. Our hands are essential to nearly every aspect of daily living, from work and recreation to self-care and everyday tasks. Helping patients relieve pain, restore function, and return to the activities they enjoy is incredibly rewarding. I also appreciate the variety the specialty offers, from treating acute injuries and chronic conditions to providing both surgical and nonsurgical care.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my husband and two children, being on the lake, and swimming.
