Summary
I believe patients should have the information and support they need to be active participants in their care. My goal is to explain treatment options clearly, help patients and their families identify reliable sources of health information, and work together to make informed decisions that reflect each patient’s individual priorities.
Respecting a patient’s decisions also means taking the time to understand the reasons behind them. I value open communication, invite patient input and coordinate with other health care providers to ensure a comprehensive approach to care.
I strive to practice evidence-based medicine and stay current with the latest research and clinical guidelines. As part of treatment planning, I regularly review medications with my patients to evaluate their continued necessity and consider appropriate alternatives.
I chose cardiology because it offers a meaningful balance between preventive care and helping patients manage and treat existing heart conditions.
