Summary
I believe great care starts with truly knowing my patients. I take the time to understand each person’s unique situation, personality, and goals so we can work together as partners in their care. Open, honest communication is important to me, and I encourage patients to ask questions, share concerns, and involve loved ones in the decision-making process.
My approach is centered on collaboration and trust. I want every patient to feel heard, respected, and empowered to take an active role in their health. Care doesn’t stop at a single visit—I strive to build lasting relationships and be a trusted resource as part of the community.
I also believe in a thoughtful, coordinated approach to care. I work closely with other providers to ensure each patient receives comprehensive, well-rounded treatment. When it comes to treatment planning, I focus on the least invasive, most effective options whenever possible. I take pride in exploring all available paths—including non-surgical options—and making sure patients fully understand their choices and what to expect.
As a general surgeon, I have the privilege of helping patients through a wide range of conditions—from straightforward procedures to more complex diagnoses like cancer. Supporting patients through what can often be a stressful or uncertain time is something I take seriously and find deeply meaningful.
Outside of work, I enjoy spending time outdoors camping, fishing, and running, as well as playing golf and pickleball. I also enjoy theater and, most importantly, spending time with my family.
