Care Philosophy

As a Nurse Practitioner, I believe exceptional care begins with listening. Every patient has a unique story, and my goal is to provide compassionate, evidence-based care that empowers individuals to better understand their health and actively participate in treatment decisions. I believe healthcare works best when it is a true partnership, built on trust, open communication, and shared decision-making.

My approach is holistic and patient-centered, focusing not only on disease management but also on the many factors that influence overall health and well-being. I consider nutrition, lifestyle habits, preventive care, and psychosocial wellness as important components of comprehensive care. By taking the time to understand each patient's individual needs and goals, I strive to develop personalized treatment plans that support long-term health and quality of life.

I believe respect is fundamental to every patient interaction. Patients deserve to be heard, informed, and involved in decisions about their care. I am committed to creating a supportive environment where questions are encouraged, concerns are addressed, and patients feel confident in the care they receive.

I chose gastroenterology because of its complexity and the significant role digestive health plays in overall wellness. The connection between gut health, nutrition, lifestyle, and quality of life is both fascinating and impactful, and I enjoy helping patients navigate these relationships to improve their health and daily functioning.

Outside of work, I enjoy gardening, fiber arts, and traveling. I appreciate opportunities to explore new places, experience different cultures, and spend time pursuing creative interests.
