Summary
Dr. Linthicum attended college in the northwest and always hoped to return to live here. He and his wife I have good friends and family in this area and were eager to join them. Dr. Linthicum and his wife have two daughters.
As a pre-med student in college, Dr. Linthicum had the opportunity to go on a mission trip to the Dominican Republic and assist in orthopedic surgery there and was instantly drawn toward that as a specialty.
Dr. Linthicum enjoys listening to and getting to know his patients. He feels his job is to communicate with patients so that they can make the best decisions for their health.
Outside of work Dr. Linthicum and his wife enjoy hiking, snowboarding, mountain biking, aviation, and fishing. They also enjoy serving on short-term overseas mission trips.
He decided to join Kootenai while investigating opportunities in this area. He was surprised and pleased to discover Kootenai Health is community owned which greatly appealed to him. After meeting with the team at Kootenai Health, he said he was impressed with their vision and looked forward to serving in this community.
