Summary
I believe the foundation of excellent pulmonary care begins with listening. Every patient has a unique story, and understanding their symptoms, experiences, concerns, and treatment goals is essential to developing an effective care plan. I partner closely with my patients to better understand their lung conditions, review what treatments have and have not worked, and explore the options available to help them achieve the best possible outcomes.
My approach is rooted in evidence-based medicine, clear communication, and shared decision-making. I provide reliable, data-supported recommendations while respecting each patient’s values, preferences, and priorities. Together, we develop individualized treatment plans that focus on the least invasive and most effective options whenever possible, including thoughtful medication management and consideration of alternative approaches when appropriate.
I care for patients with a wide range of pulmonary conditions, including asthma, COPD, bronchiectasis, sarcoidosis, interstitial lung disease, neuromuscular respiratory weakness, lung nodules, and pulmonary hypertension. I also work closely with other healthcare providers to ensure coordinated, comprehensive care across the continuum of treatment.
My passion for pulmonology began during my PhD studies in biochemistry, where I researched how toxins affect the lungs. That early interest evolved into a career dedicated to helping patients optimize their lung health and quality of life. In addition to caring for patients in the clinic, I serve patients in the intensive care unit, where collaboration, expertise, and compassionate support are critical for patients and families facing serious illness.
My goal is for every patient to feel heard, respected, informed, and empowered throughout their healthcare journey.
