Erick Montero MD hey you saved my life thank you for being You during this process . The way treated me and my loved ones, was professional and kind. Explaining every detail of surgery and what to expect during recovery for the patient and family. Calming down the very frightened patient and family and let them go to sleep the night before surgery. I will always be grateful and thankful for the positive response you gave me. The night before surgery, I cried alone, after talked to you, I slept. That is a gift. Thank you! My quadruple bypass was on 12/29/2022. I think about you and thank you often. Your staff that helped me through those days should get a raise. Lol

I met Dr. Montero when he resided in Southern California at Sadleback Memorial. He performed bypass surgery on me in 2015. He was amazing as both a surgeon and as a man. Incredibly kind and attentive. If he's currently your Cardiologist then you're in great hands...if you're looking for a good Cardiologist for yourself or to recommend ... he's your man.

I met Dr. Montero (Cardiothoracic Surgeon) prior to having a TAVR procedure to discuss possible surgery intervention and with Dr Wallace who would perform the TAVR procedure (which goes through the groin artery with a catheter and installs a new aortic valve). Both of these doctors are gifted in patient interactions asking and answering all questions. Their skill at what they do is evident in the results of the successful TAVR surgery I had 4 days ago. I'm almost 76 years old with other surgery history and I was totally impressed with the entire process and am happy to say I've been home for 3 days without the shortness of breath I previously had from even mild exertion. They deserve a 6 star review.

I was mowing my lawn and thinking about being almost 4 years downrange from CABG X3. No pain or shortness of breath no AFIB. Feeling good. Thanks to Dr. Montero and his surgery team. A++

Doc did it again, saved my (Edzel Pugh Sr) Father’s life with a quadruple bypass. Now I have both parents safe because of Montero’s team!!!

Saved (Margaret Pugh) my mother’s life; what more could one say! He and his associates are very professional and have good bedside manner.

Doctor Montero saved my life performing emergency quadruple bypass surgery following a heart attack November 6, 1999. In my humble opinion he is the number 1 cardiac surgeon in the Pacific Northwest. His team at Kootenai Hospital took exceptional care of me during the surgery including my recovery. Thank you Doctor Montero!
