Summary
As an emergency medicine physician, I strive to provide patient-centered care rooted in empathy, clear communication, and shared decision-making. I understand that a visit to the emergency department is often one of the most stressful moments in a person’s life, and I aim to meet each patient with compassion, respect, and care that reflects their unique needs and values.
I see myself not just as a provider, but as a member of the community—building lasting relationships and supporting continuity of care through collaboration with trusted local and regional partners. I also advocate for preventive tools like screenings and nutrition support to help close care gaps and promote long-term health.
While emergency medicine often requires quick, decisive action, I make it a priority to involve patients and families in the process whenever possible—listening actively, explaining clearly, and honoring individual preferences.
I chose this field because it allows me to serve people from all walks of life during critical moments. The fast-paced, high-impact nature of emergency care constantly challenges me and reinforces my commitment to making a difference.
Outside of work, I love spending time with my wife and daughters, whether we’re at home or off exploring together. I’m happiest outdoors—boating, fishing, wakeboarding, and snowboarding whenever I get the chance.
